Money-Saving Tips

1. Don't make large credit purchases on a home, vehicle, or phone. Good homes can be found for $100-200K in the right places. Good cars can be had for under $3000. And a good enough phone + plan can be had for $50-100 + $10-20/month if you get an unlocked phone and a low data plan.

2. Don't go to an expensive college that you couldn't possibly pay for while working a job.

3. Don't subscribe to services you don't need. Exception is if it's something that helps you make enough money to more than cover the subscription fee.

4. Don't buy lots of things you don't need. Don't replace things more than necessary. The cost of psychopathically keeping up with the latest phone, computer, watch, fashion etc. is very high.

5. Cook food as often as possible. Don't eat out often. Rice, beans, vegetables, ground meat, and spices can be used to make a wide variety of meals.

6. Buy "used" (returned) shoes off Amazon Warehouse Deals.
Generally, there are lots of things you can get for a bargain used, like 15-25% of the price for a new one.
